My manuscript is currently entitled Becoming Someone I Could Admire: A Memoir. It has long been a work in progress. In the fall of 2014, I subjected it to a professional edit; the result left me little choice but to undertake a complete rewrite. That has progressed well. My goal is to secure a literary agent and publisher with an early 2016 launch. While the story I am writing may connect with my own “baby-boomer” generation, it is to the youth that I feel the greatest need to speak. In late July, 2016, the next international celebration of World Youth Day will be held in Krakow, Poland. The most recent event was held in Brazil in 2013; it was attended by a reported 3.7 million people. I hope to see copies of my memoir in different languages on the vendors’ tables in Krakow. I’ll let you know.
